Beginning his career in telecommunications and network infrastructure, Cade founded Traxx IT to close an industry-wide gap: businesses depend on IT as a foundation but often lack the resources to manage it securely.

He specializes in hybrid cloud infrastructure, Microsoft technologies, and compliance frameworks including NIST, CMMC, and SOC 2.

Cade’s career merges deep technical expertise with proven business leadership. He began as a technician in the telecommunications industry working with fiber optics, structured cabling, and network infrastructure, which sparked his passion for IT and set the stage for a career defined by building reliable systems. That foundation led him to found Williston Unlimited, which he grew into a multi-million-dollar enterprise recognized as a top contractor in its territory. His success and influence earned him a seat on the Board of Directors for the American Fence Association’s Rocky Mountain Chapter.

As a business owner, Cade saw firsthand how critical technology is to operations and how costly it becomes when IT is not properly managed. At the same time, serving as CEO exposed him to a common problem across industries: companies rely on IT as a foundation, yet few have the resources to manage it at the level required to prevent downtime and defend against evolving cybersecurity threats. He founded Traxx IT to fill that gap, creating the reliable partner he and other owner-operators needed, one that takes full ownership of IT so businesses can operate with confidence.

With years in the industry, including more than in IT, Cade specializes in building and managing the hybrid cloud infrastructures modern businesses rely on. His expertise across the Microsoft ecosystem equips Traxx IT to deliver secure, scalable solutions that strengthen resilience and help organizations achieve and maintain compliance with standards such as NIST, CMMC, ISO 27001, HIPAA, PCI DSS, and SOC 2.

Alex McMunn brings over a decade of experience from the front lines of Managed IT Services, where he developed a reputation for mastering complex technical challenges and supporting diverse client environments. His career began at Isofusion, where he advanced from Tier 1 helpdesk to Network Operations Center technician, gaining hands-on expertise with Linux, Cisco, Windows, virtualization platforms, and firewall technologies while supporting enterprise networks and fiber-to-the-home communities across the Pacific Northwest.

That first-hand experience launched his career in the telecom industry and ultimately led him to become a Senior Systems Administrator and Network Engineer, where he managed IT infrastructure for more than 300 users and devices. His work included designing backup and failover systems that prevented costly downtime, implementing cybersecurity and compliance initiatives including CMMC and NIST 800-171, and engineering VPN, WAN, and cloud integrations leveraging Microsoft Azure. Along the way, he demonstrated a strong commitment to risk management, uncovering vulnerabilities, launching Splunk SIEM for monitoring, and driving security awareness across the organization.

Today, as Lead Technology Consultant at Traxx IT, Alex is both the technical backbone of operations and a trusted advisor to clients. Fully CompTIA-certified and pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity, he brings deep knowledge of network infrastructure, endpoint management, and security protocols to ensure client systems remain stable, secure, and optimized for long-term success.
